wild wool. wild color. wild herbs . . .from the hills of Puget Sound
Hello!
My fiber studio & herbal apothecary live at Wool & Weeds Wilfarm in a vintage farmhouse where, my "co-workers" are a menagerie of animals on the farm. Blodwyn is our guard Suri llama, who watches over our seven spirited Pygora goats, a Pierre the pig and Willoughby the pony, along with a gaggle of chickens, dogs and cats.
I've been a student of western folk herbalism for over 25 years & became a wool lover about 10 years ago when we adopted our llama & fiber goats. Since then, I've been blending my work with natural fibers and plants here at the Wildfarm. From using plants in dyes, salves and teas to spinning textured art yarns, hand-crafting wool batts & other products, everything here is processed artfully and by hand for makers who value natural materials and slow craft.

Small Batches. One-of-a-Kind Finds.
Because I work by hand and in rhythm with the seasons on our Puget Sound farm, my supply is naturally very limited. Every herbal product & and spun art yarn or hand-blended batt is a "one-of-a-kind" creation—once a specific item is gone, it’s gone.
I operate on a "Wildfarm Shop Update" schedule. I spend several weeks in the studio & apothecary creating a new collection, then open the shop until the shelves are empty. The best way to get a piece from the next batch is to be on the Wildfarm List below. You’ll get an email invitation to our next Wildfarm Shop Drop before the doors open.
My mornings are spent running a local preschool, which means my days are a mix of arts, books & circle time :) Once the kids head home, I switch gears—trading the classroom for the Wool Shed & Apothecary. It’s a busy life, but it’s the one I chose, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Thank you for being part of the story.
